Call for Abstracts & Participation – HRLA x Global Conference on Sustainable Development, Energy Transitions, and Climate Change

The Human Rights Lawyers Association (HRLA) is pleased to announce the International Conference on Sustainable Development, Energy Transitions, and Climate Change, taking place virtually on 28–29 November 2025.

This global, multi-disciplinary forum will convene scholars, practitioners, policymakers, and advocates to engage in critical dialogue on the intersections of sustainable development, clean energy, climate justice, and resilience.

📝 Submission Guidelines
• Abstract length: Maximum 250 words
• Deadline: 30 September 2025

Double-Blind Abstract Review Criteria
• Relevance to Conference Themes: The abstract must clearly align with one or more of the stated thematic areas.
• Originality and Contribution to Knowledge: The submission should demonstrate novel insights, innovative approaches, or critical reflections.
• Clarity, Coherence, and Structure: The abstract should present objectives, methods, findings (or expected findings), and implications in a clear manner.
• Methodological and Analytical Rigour: The abstract should reflect sound methodological grounding and a robust analytical approach.
• Significance and Impact: The proposed work should highlight its potential impact on sustainable development, energy transitions, climate justice, or related fields.
